William & Mary International Summer School at the Law School
Join international students from around the world to learn global legal practice at America’s oldest law school – William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA.
This three-week program starts on July 22, 2020 and will end on August 12, 2020. The program includes three weeks of (weekday) instruction focusing on Legal English and Writing, Introduction to U.S. Law, and Lawyering and Professional Skills Training. Weekend cultural and historical learning experiences are included with trips to Washington D.C., and Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Transportation (group) ONLY will be provided from Dulles (IAD) airport in Washington D.C. to Williamsburg on July 21, 2020 and from Williamsburg to Dulles (IAD) airport on August 13, 2020. If you arrive or leave the U.S. on a different date, you will be responsible for the cost of your own transportation. Information on group transportation will be distributed in a separate email closer to program dates.
Tuition Package is $3,750 and is inclusive of $250 in Express Dollars. Additional program details will be included with the admission letter.
An English proficiency interview is a requirement for admission. After registration, please send Professor Jennifer Stevenson (jsstevenson@wm.edu) a copy of a recent (within one year) TOEFL or IELTS score. If you do not have an English language test score, an individualized assessment will be conducted by Skype or WeChat.
**This program requires a minimum of 25 participants to register by May 1, 2020 in order to occur; if the minimum enrollment is not reached, registrants will be refunded in full at that time.
